What is the difference between marble, granite and quartz?
Marble is a natural stone prized for its veining and elegance, but it is softer and can etch with acids. Granite is a very hard natural stone that resists heat and scratches - ideal for kitchens. Quartz is engineered from natural quartz and resin; it is non-porous, consistent in colour and needs no sealing.

Yes. We offer measurement, templating, cutting, installation and sealing for countertops, floors, walls and staircases.
Which stone is best for a Sri Lankan kitchen?
Granite, quartz and sintered stone are the most practical for busy kitchens as they resist heat, stains and scratches. Quartzite is a beautiful natural alternative if you love the look of marble.
Is marble suitable for bathrooms?
Absolutely. Marble is a classic bathroom stone. We recommend a honed finish for floors and sealing all surfaces to protect against water marks and cosmetics.
What stone should I use outdoors or around a pool?
Choose slip-resistant, heat-friendly stone such as sandstone, limestone, slate or flamed granite. Polished marble and quartz are not recommended outdoors.
